Spiders!! Sick!!

I just wanted to rant about something that has been plaguing us for the last week or so...SPIDERS. Monday night we came home from my brother's birthday party and I went into our bedroom to put on my pajamas when all of the sudden I heard Brady scream(it was a very manly scream so as not to hurt his pride). I yelled "what's wrong?" and he told me there was a huge spider on the floor(we have also discovered that because of the speckly brownish color of our carpet, they are pretty much camoflauged and we can't see them until they move). Anyway, so I grabbed a can of bug spray and headed out to the living room to save Brady...until I saw the thing. It was HUGE! I screamed and jumped on the coffee table and handed the can to Brady. As he started to spray the spider it JUMPED at him and then started running up the side of the couch. I think the can of spray actually gave it super powers rather than killed it. So now I am screaming and jumping up and down on the coffee table and Brady is frantically trying to find some shoes(other than flip flops) to kill the dang thing. I wonder what our neighbors thought was going on. FINALLY Brady killed it and for the rest of the night I put on my rubber rain boots and wouldn't take them off until I was safely in bed. We killed another one the next morning and then this morning as I was leaving for work, one scurried across the floor so I just hurried and left for work. It will probably be waiting for us when we get home. The point of this post was to express my hatred for spiders and tell everyone how vulnerible the stupid little things make you feel in your own house! Geez.
